Leadership and Self-Awareness

Leadership is defined as an individuals ability to influence others in accepting and agreeing upon a common goal; and using their efforts to accomplish that goal. Self-awareness has recently been cited as one of the most important capabilities a leader should place emphasis on. Numerous studies posit that a leaders self-awareness impacts an organizations bottom line. This lecture discusses the correlation between leadership and self-awareness; and also present practical tools leaders can use in their self-awareness analysis.

1) Describe basic Leadership functions, roles, responsibilities, and attributes.

2) Describe Leadership power, motivation, values, and vision.

3) Improve leader skills in decision-making and problem-solving to accomplish an organization's goals.
