Leadership and Self-Awareness
Leadership is defined as an individual’s ability to influence others in accepting and agreeing upon a common goal; and using their efforts to accomplish that goal. Self-awareness has recently been cited as one of the most important capabilities a leader should place emphasis on. Numerous studies posit that a leader’s self-awareness impacts an organization’s bottom line. This lecture discusses the correlation between leadership and self-awareness; and also present practical tools leaders can use in their self-awareness analysis.
