Session Description

Kevin will guide us through Cultural Awareness and Inclusion based on the Talent Development Body of Knowledge of Building Personal Capability through ATD. He will assist the group with knowing and understanding the importance of cultural awareness and inclusion in the talent development field.

Objectives: 

1. Identify cultural differences in the workplace
2. Recognize methods and techniques to foster cultural awareness, encourage cultural sensitivity, and broaden viewpoints
3. Analyze approaches to encourage and promote workplace diversity and inclusion.

About Kevin

Kevin is the Director of CPTD for the SEVA ATD Chapter. He is a graduate of ODU with a BS in Management and a Master’s in Public Administration. Kevin’s expertise is in International Shipping with experience in Operations, Customer service, Human Resources and Finance. He also has over 8 years of Training and Development experience and now is CPTD certified since October of 2020. Kevin enjoys exploring new adventures and traveling around the world.
