Join Marlo Calloway, PHR and SEVA Board Member, for a thought provoking two hours regarding the etiquette advantage.

Whether you're starting your own business, searching for new employment, or representing your corporation at a business function or meeting, being aware of and practicing proper business etiquette is essential. Extending the appropriate courtesies at the right time could help you land business deals and form professional relationships that will serve you well in the long run.

About Marlo Calloway, PHR

Marlo Calloway, PHR is presently employed with Hampton Newport News Community Services Board in Hampton, Virginia as a Human Resource Generalist Supervisor leading the recruitment efforts of the organization. Currently, she serves on the board of SEVA ASTD as Director of Membership along with Hampton Roads SHRM as the Director of Workforce Development.  Also, as an adjunct instructor with Tidewater Community College, she instructs students on how to successfully manage their academic and professional careers.

As the owner/coach of Mentor Me T&D/HR, Marlo works with individuals who are developing, re-inventing or re-entering the workforce by applying techniques that extend beyond the traditional formats of career development.  In addition, as the chair and developer of the Hampton Roads SHRM’s first successful mentor program, Marlo developed several workshops to assist entry-level professionals and students in maximizing their fullest potential in business and in their careers.

One of those successful workshops targeted proper business etiquette in any industry focus.
