Finding A Job: Hampton Roads has a fairly unique job market in the best of times, and unemployment is at record highs. Having a support group, widening your professional network, and keeping on top of job search skills are crucial. SEVA Career Club provides all three in an informal atmosphere.

Finding a Better Job or Promotion: The key to success in our current uncertain work world is being employable. Looking for your next jobundefineda better jobundefineda promotion can be difficult. Widening your professional network and honing your job seeking skills can expedite the process.

Panel Discussion: Times are tough, but you're not alone in looking for a new job. The difficult part of any job search is the       isolation one feels. Our panel of career recruitment experts will share with you the tips and tools needed to successfully manage during the stressful time of job loss.

Marlo Calloway, PHR is the founder/coach of MentorMe T&D/HR. Marlo works with individuals who are developing, re-inventing or re-entering the workforce by applying techniques that extends beyond the traditional formats of career development.  In addition, as the chair and developer of the Hampton Roads SHRM’s first successful mentor program, Marlo developed several workshops to assist transitioning and entry-level professionals along with students and graduates in maximizing their fullest potential in their professional business and academics careers.
