Lighthouse One is the realization of 30 years of service in the public, social, and commercial sectors by Mark Bowers, its Founder and Principal.  Mark builds a team of professionals matched to each client’s unique goals and challenges.

Mark’s personal goal is to help organizations that want to make a difference as well as succeed financially.

 Summary  Training Specialization
He brings 30 plus years in leadership and management of government, business and technology mission delivery efforts.  Following a career as a US Navy nuclear submarine officer, he then served in various leadership roles at firms supporting the several federal agencies.  Since 2010, he has provided strategic planning, coaching, facilitation, and consulting services for a number of public and social sector organizations.

Mark has served as President of the Hampton Roads chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).  He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Council (SDVOSB-C) as well as the Project Management Institute Hampton Roads Chapter.  Mark is a professionally trained coach and facilitator, and is a member of the International Coach Federation and the International Association of Facilitators.
