Career Development

Career planning is an important function for any organization. Employees want and need to feel as if they have some control over their destiny and development. It is a process in which individuals:

  • Assess interests, values, and capabilities
  • Establish goals
  • Evaluate opportunities
  • Analyze skill gaps
  • Find solutions to fill skill gaps
  • Prepare themselves for the future

From the organization's perspective, encouraging an employee's continuous development makes good business sense. You are filling the succession pipeline.

During this session, we will review the process that has been employed at Langley Federal Credit Union and how you can take the process and adapt it to your organization.
